Mothers' Call
As religious leaders, many of us women and mothers, we are united across faith communities in the fundamental conviction that all people are created in the Divine image; that all human beings have both infinite worth and shared, holy aspirations: a longing for peace, freedom, fairness, and safety. With deep concern for children and adults today, and with a daunting responsibility to future generations, we are committed to “turn from harm & evil and do good; to seek peace and pursue it” (Psalms 34:14). Thus, by signing the below form, we endorse the words of the Mothers’ Call, crafted by brave Palestinian and Israeli women, who are willing to see past their own pain in order to imagine a better future, and work together to create it. May you be moved to support the enduring efforts of Women of the Sun and Women Wage Peace. And may these efforts be blessed and bear good fruit.
We, Palestinian and Israeli women from all walks of life, are united in the human desire for a future of peace, freedom, equality, rights, and security for our children and the next generations. We believe that the majority of the people of our nations also share our mutual desire. Therefore, we demand that our leaders listen to our call and promptly begin peace talks and negotiations, with a determined commitment to achieving a political solution to the long and painful conflict, within a limited timeframe.

We, Palestinian and Israeli women from all walks of life, are united in the human desire for a future of peace, freedom, equality, rights, and security for our children and the next generations. We believe that the majority of the people of our nations also share our mutual desire. Therefore, we demand that our leaders listen to our call and promptly begin peace talks and negotiations, with a determined commitment to achieving a political solution to the long and painful conflict, within a limited timeframe.
We call on the peoples of both nations – Palestinian and Israeli, and peoples of the region to join our call and demonstrate their support for the resolution of the conflict.
We call on the women of the world to stand by us for a future of peace and security, prosperity, dignity and freedom for ourselves, our children, and the people of the region.
We call on people of peace from around the world, both young and old, religious leaders, people of influence, community leaders, educators, and those who hold this issue close to their hearts, to add their voices to our call.
We invite our leaders to heed the voice and will of the peoples in this call to resolve the conflict and achieve an inclusive, just peace. We are committed to taking an active role in the negotiation process until its successful resolution, in line with UN Resolution 1325.
We call on our leaders to show courage and vision to bring about this historical change, to which we all aspire. We join hands in determination and partnership to bring hope back to our peoples.
نحن مجموعة نساء فلسطينيات وإسرائيليات من جميع شرائح المجتمع يوحدنا تطلعنا الإنساني لمستقبل من السلام, الحرية, مساواة, حقوق والأمن من أجل أبنائنا والأجيال القادمة، ونحن على ثقة وإيمان بأن الغالبية العظمى من أبناء شعبنا يشاركنا هذا التّطلع.
نحن ندعو قادتنا للاستماع لمطلبنا والعودة الى طاولة المفاوضات خلال الفترة القادمة للتوصل إلى حل سياسي للصراع الطويل والمؤلم.
ندعو أبناء الشعبين الفلسطيني والاسرائيلي ودول المنطقة للانضمام لمطلبنا وإظهار الدعم لنا لإنهاء الصراع.
ندعو جميع نساء العالم للوقوف بجانبنا لتحقيق مستقبل من السلام والأمن، الكرامة، والمساواة لنا جميعا.
ندعو مناصري السلام، الشخصيات الدينية، التربوية، المجتمعية، قادة الرأي، والشباب وكل من يهمه الامر بدون استثناء في العالم بضم صوتهم لصوتنا.
وندعو قياداتنا ليكونوا ملتزمين لصوت وإرادة الشعب بهذا النداء من أجل انهاء الصراع وإحلال السلام الشامل والعادل، نحن نلتزم أن نأخذ دوراً فعّالاً في عملية المفاوضات وصولاً لنهاية ناجحة حسب قرار مجلس الأمن في الأمم المتحدة رقم 1325.
ندعو قادتنا لإظهار الشجاعة والرؤية من أجل إحداث التغيير التاريخي الذي نتطلع إليه جميعًا. نحن نتكاتف ونتعاون بإصرار وشراكة حقيقية كي نعيد الأمل لأبناء شعبنا.

אנו קוראות לאנשי השלום בעולם – צעירים ומבוגרים, מנהיגי הדתות, מובילי דעה, אנשי חינוך וקהילה, וכל מי שהנושא חשוב לו – לצרף את קולם לקריאתנו.
אנו מזמינות את המנהיגים שלנו להיות מחויבים לקול ולרצון של העמים בקריאה הזו למען סיום הסכסוך והגעה לשלום כולל וצודק. אנו מתחייבות לקחת חלק פעיל בתהליכי המשא ומתן עד לסיומם המוצלח, בהתאם להחלטה 1325 של האו״ם.
אנו קוראות למנהיגינו לגלות אומץ וחזון בכדי להביא את השינוי ההיסטורי שכולנו שואפים אליו. אנו משלבות ידיים בנחישות ובשותפות להשיב את התקווה לעמינו.
