Women of the Sun and Women Wage Peace in Jerusalem during President Biden’s visit,

Women Wage Peace and Women of the Sun united in a powerful demonstration of our shared commitment to peace. Hundreds of Israeli and Palestinian women gathered in Jerusalem and marched together to the Lions Fountain, sending a clear message to President Biden and Israeli leadership during the presidential visit in July 2022.

Our joint action called for placing peace between Israelis and Palestinians at the forefront of diplomatic discussions. This event was part of our ongoing series of joint initiatives, through which we consistently urge leaders on both sides to actively pursue a political agreement.

Together, we stand firm in our belief that women’s voices are crucial in the peace process. We continue to organize events that amplify our shared vision for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, demonstrating the strength of grassroots movements in shaping a better future for both peoples.
