We are honored to share that Women of the Sun and Women Wage Peace have received the 2025 David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award, presented in New York in May 2025.
The award was accepted by Reem Hajajreh, founder and director of Women of the Sun, and Dr. Yael Admi, co-founder and chairperson of Women Wage Peace. Together, they represented the Israeli-Palestinian partnership Mothers’ Call, which stands at the core of our partnership and shared vision.
The award committee recognized the groundbreaking cooperation between our two movements—rooted in listening, mutual respect, and unwavering women’s leadership—as a powerful expression of bridging leadership in action. At a time of deep conflict and heartbreak, our shared work offers a global example of courage, empathy, and hope.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Synergos, the award committee, and all who support our efforts to build peace from the ground up.
This recognition renews our commitment to end the war, secure the release of all hostages, and advance toward a political agreement that ensures dignity, freedom, and safety for all.
